Coronavirus (COVID-19)Office Updates: New Beginnings Family Law (3-25-2020)

In the United States, we are experiencing an unprecedented situation related to the progression of COVID-19. At this time, we are being encouraged to avoid gatherings of more than twenty-five people and unnecessary travel. Many of us had plans for the upcoming spring break weeks, and families are struggling with how to handle visitation and custody exchanges in light of the social distancing and travel recommendations.

At New Beginnings Family Law, we are here to help you navigate this difficult time. While we can never encourage you or advise you to withhold custody or visitation, we are still open and available to assist you in negotiating exchanges of time with your other co-parents.

We are taking phone appointments and video conferences to assist our former, current and potential clients with negotiating or renegotiating custody and visitation arrangements so that you and your co-parent can make intelligent and creative decisions regarding your child’s time with each parent in light of this pandemic.

Until the state of emergency passes, our firm will be offering discounts to parents who need to renegotiate current custody agreements in light of COVID-19. Call us at (256) 518-9529 and mention this post to schedule an appointment with one of our attorneys. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this incredibly difficult time. #COVID-19 #childcustody
