David Pace

New Beginnings Family Law welcomed David Pace to our team of attorneys in 2016.

David Pace was born and raised in Oxford, Alabama. After obtaining his political science degree at the University of Alabama, David received his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he served as Senior Editor of the Law & Psychology Review. Throughout his career, David has served on numerous state and local bar committees and is currently serving as a member of the Alabama State Bar Task Force on Quality of Life, Health and Wellness as well as serving on the Board of Directors of the Alabama State Bar Lawyer Referral Committee. David has been awarded an AV Preeminent rating by his peers, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards.

David has litigated a wide variety of cases in state and federal courts throughout Alabama. After achieving success in a number of different areas, David shifted his focus back to family law, which he has found to be the most fulfilling work he can do as a lawyer. Practicing in family law affords him the personal gratification of working closely with individuals in difficult situations and making a positive impact on their lives. He collaborates with his clients to set realistic goals, and then zealously advocates on their behalf to reach the desired results.

David provides counsel in the areas of divorce, paternity, child custodychild support, dependency, adoption, termination of parental rights, appeals, fathers’ rights, alimony, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements, property division, grandparent visitation, wills and estates, and surrogacy. David has also received his mediation license, and can now advise mediation divorce.

David is what is known as a Guardian ad Litem, also known as a GAL. This means that in court he works in the best interest of the child in child custody cases. He will always work to ensure that the child is in the best hands.

Away from the office, David is an avid follower of Alabama football, enjoys reading, cooking and outdoor recreational activities with his family.
