Amber James Successfully Achieved Board Certification as a Family Trial Law Advocate

Amber James, of New Beginnings Family Law, P.C. in Huntsville, Alabama has successfully achieved Board Certification as a Family Trial Law advocate, recently announced by the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA).  The NBTA was formed to create an objective set of standards illustrating an attorney’s experience and expertise in the practice of trial law to benefit the law profession and its clients.

After successfully completing a rigorous application process, Amber James joined a growing number of trial attorneys that have illustrated their commitment to bettering the legal profession.   The process includes an elaborate screening of credentials that all NBTA board certified attorneys must successfully complete. Screenings include demonstration of substantial trial experience, submission of judicial and peer references to attest to their competency, attendance of continuing legal education courses, submission of legal writing documents, proof of good standing and passing of an examination.  Board Certification is the most noteworthy and most reliable honor a lawyer can accomplish. Board certifications are the main differentiations granted by non-profit organizations.

Amber James graduated from Birmingham School of Law after earning her undergraduate degree in music from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  She is licensed to practice throughout Alabama and has been involved in numerous trials and cases.  Amber belongs to the Alabama State Bar, the American Bar Association, the Morgan County Bar Association, and the Madison County Bar Association.

Amber is a member of a very select group, as only about 3% of American lawyers are board certified.
