Hi, my name is Preston Huggins. I was born and raised right here in Madison County. After graduating from high school, I attended Auburn University where I acquired a degree in political science. Upon graduating from Auburn, I attended Thomas Good Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama. While there I was blessed with the opportunity to serve as the Student Bar Association Vice President, Senior Editor of the Faulkner Law Review, and an Academic Dean Fellow where I assisted younger law students with achieving academic success. While in law school, I worked as a law clerk for Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, as well as intern for the Chief Magistrate Judge of the Middle District of Alabama.
When I am not practicing law, I love nothing more than spending time with my wonderful wife Courtney. If you catch us on the weekend you will more than likely find us enjoying the outdoors, or the closest body of water that we can find.
Growing up, in this community provided me with many great opportunities, which is one of the many reasons that I love practicing law here and in the surrounding counties. I am afforded the opportunity every day to give back to the community that provided me so many opportunities.
