What is Mediation?

What is Mediation?

Hi, I’m David Pace, and I am an attorney at NBFL.  You have scheduled a time to come in and meet with one of our attorneys regarding your mediation.  In order to make the best use of your time with your attorney it is important to bring information supported with documentation if possible, about what you are seeking out of the divorce. This can seem overwhelming, but here are a few areas to get you started. Information about the marital property, such as your home, vehicles, financial accounts, debts, and personal property. If there are children under 19 involved bring income information for both parents, health insurance and work related child care costs to help us in discussing child support. This information will also be useful if alimony may be an issue.
